LUBRICATION
7.1. Intersecting axis gears
Everyday before work check the oil level and, if need be, remove the vent

the upper section of the gear and refill. The oil level can be checked by opening check plug

at the
back of the intersecting gear. If the oil level is too low, refill the oil
(Gear oil SAE 80W/90, API
GL-4)
until it appears in the check opening

: approx. 0.29 GAL US-lqd. Oil
volume in gears

: approx. 0.13 GAL US-lqd. Plug

is used to drain the oil from the gear.

To replace oil in gears:
Prepare an adequate tank for the used oil to be disposed,
Open fuel cap

and drain plug

Close drain plug
