5.
OPERATION
WARNING:
Before beginning to use this machine, do the following:
- Read manual, especially safety precautions in section 4.
- Make sure you are familiar with all controls and functions.
- Make sure all safety devices are in place and working. Fix or replace if not
working or damaged.
- Replace protective cover if damaged.
5.1. Moving tedder from transport position (for loading) to working position
(Applies to tedders P6-651 and P6-771)
WARNING:
Moving the tedder to and from operating position from the transport position
should only take place on even and stable ground. Prior to making the moves
make sure whether there are no unauthorized persons exposed to any
hazardous moving parts.
Due to permissible loading height for trucks tedder P6-651 and P6-771 should prepared for
transport in special manner as shown in
Fig. 8a
.
In order to prepare the machine for loading release pin
