3.2.  Design and working principle 

Overview  of  rotary  tedder  is  provided  in 

Fig.  3

.  3-point  linkage  frame  (

)  with  catch  (

enables  attachment  of  the  tedder  to  the  tractor's  3-point  linkage.  Drive  from  tractor’s  rpm  is 
transmitted through intersecting axis gears onto rotors. On the tedder there are three (five for P6 - 
651 and P6 - 771) drive units: left and right (

 and

) as well as the main one, onto which rotors are 

mounted with arms (

) and fingers (

). Safety guards (

) are mounted on the frame and side drive 

units.  For  transport  the  two  side  units  with  rotors  are  folded  by  means  of  hydraulics  to  vertical 
position and blocked with a lock (
