TRAILED ROTARY TEDDER
OPERATOR’S MANUAL
WARNING!
The tilt angle lock can
only be adjusted in the horizontal position
.
WARNING!
It is only possible to maintain a constant tilt angle of the machine (A1) if the
tractor bar height (H) is constant (
).
❑
slowly engage PTO clutch and wait until the rotors reach their rated speed 540 rpm./min. The speed
should be as low as possible in order to reduce fuel consumption of the tractor,
❑
engage tractor gear and drive slowly into the meadow. On flat meadows the operation can be
performed with any speed. If the meadow is uneven reduce speed.
5.8.
Operation
The correct setting of the tedder for operation is shown in
. The tips of the working fingers should
be approx. 4 cm above the ground. The height of the fingers and the angle of inclination depend on the
position of the wheel systems, the cylinder lock and the height (H) of the tractor bar above the ground.

Tedding on the edge of the field
Installing the hydraulically opening windrow curtain enables the green fodder to be spread at the edge
of the field without loss of green fodder.
With the curtain open, the green fodder at the outermost rotor is directed towards the field edge, within
the field's border.
