6.6. Adjustment of the gap between the cover and the roller of the scarifier
Depending on the height and thickness of the grass being mowed, it may become necessary to change
the setting of the scarifier cover. The higher and thicker grass the larger the gap between the guard and
the scarifier. The correct setting should be selected through trial and error, so that the scarifier does not
clog up and so that the overload clutch of the articulated telescoping shaft does not activate.
Adjustment of the scarifier guard is shown on Pict 21.

6.7. Replacement of the flails of the scarifier
Every time before starting work the condition of the bolts securing the flails and of the flails
themselves should be checked. If the flails or bolts are worn of damaged they must be replaced. If
the replacement of metal flails is necessary this should be done in pairs of matching weight.
ATTENTION:
A new bolt M16
×70
oc. kl. 8.8 and nut M16 oc. kl. 8.8 should be used to make
the connection; torque down until tight.
