Connect the electrical power supply
DANGER! Hazardous electric voltage!
Risk of electric shock that may result in serious injury or death!
● The electrical installations must only be carried out by authorized customer service
or a qualified electrician!
.
Switch off the appliance and secure it against switching on!
● The electrical connection must be carried out in accordance with the applicable provisions of the
VDE 0100 and of the respective responsible energy supply company.
● The flexible mains lead must be at least H 07 RN-F.
● For appliances with mains sockets, the mains socket must be easily accessible.
● For safety reasons, we recommend installing a residual current circuit breaker (RCB). Important
for induction appliances: Short term delayed sensitive to all currents use FIcircuit breaker ≥ 30
mA.
● Observe the data on the type plate when making the electrical connection!
● Set the rotary switch of the appliance to OFF, only then should you plug the mains plug into a
correctly installed plug socket!
For fixed connection
● Integrate appliances installation fixed at a location (fixed connection) into the equipotential
bonding system. Its effectiveness must be checked in accordance with VDE0190.
● On appliances with a fixed connection, an electrical switch (main switch) must be connected
between the appliance and power source and be easily accessible. The switch must effectively
disconnect the appliance at all poles from the mains. Thereby, the contact opening must be a
minimum of 3 mm.
● Instruct the owner and the operating personnel where the main switch provided in the kitchen for
the appliance is located so that the appliance may be switched off without danger in the event of
hazards to the user (e.g. risk of fire).
