4.1
Filling the pan

Close drain tap.
● In order to prevent damage to the base of the tank, do not place containers or pasta baskets on
this! Containers or pasta baskets must be fitted!
Use trivet
If
Gastronorm
containers are not used or the con
tainers are not fitted:

Insert the perforated trivet.
● Containers must not be stood on the base of
the tank!
● To speed up the heating-up time: fill with hot water and cover the tank while it is heating.
● Observe the maximum fill level, see mark in the pan!
● Check the water level regularly while the appliance is in use and top up with water as necessary.
4.2
Switch appliance on
CAUTION! Hot water, hot surfaces, hot objects!
Risk of burning!

Wear waterproof protective gloves!

Exercise appropriate caution!

Switch on the appliance using the rotary switch and set the required temperature.
● The indicator lights light up.
● The yellow indicator light goes off when the temperature set is attained.
4.3
Insert the tank
CAUTION! Scalding hazard!
Hot effervescent cooking water!
● Note the water fill level!

Carefully insert the perforated container with food!
.
Add the food to the perforated container or pasts basket (side walls and floor perforated).
● Do not fill the containers too full. The food should be covered by water!
● The fill height depends on the food to be cooked, as these foam at different rates.

Insert the trivet.

Insert the containers or pasta baskets into the tank.
.
Cover the unoccupied areas of the tank with a lid.
● Covering the tank reduces the energy consumption.

Stir to completely dissolve the salt added.
