Damage hazard

Caution, deformation and damage to the frying surface: Avoid sudden cooling of the frying
surface! Do not tip large quantities of water or ice into the hot pan! Do not knock or hit the
frying surface or the pan with work tools, e.g. cleaning scrapers or turners. Only use turners
and cleaning scrapers with rounded-off corners and edges!

Don't put pots, pans or similar items on the grill/ frying surface!

Do not allow any objects, like cleaning brush or cleaning cloths to get stuck in the drain
opening when closing the drain tap!

Do not open the hinged top cover abruptly knocking it against the end position as it will
otherwise damage the hinge!

Do not spray off or clean the appliance with water hoses, high-pressure cleaners, high-
pressure steam cleaners or general steam cleaners!

Do not spray foam cleaner on front panels and appliance panels. The foam cleaner gets into
the smallest of cracks and destroys the electrical and electronic systems.

If the appliance has not been used for a long time, have it checked for functional capacity by
customer services.

Commissioning

Initial commissioning

Before commissioning for the first time, clean with a cleaning agent that cuts through gre
ase.

Heat frying surface
−
to approx. 60 to 80
°
C,
−
clean with water, some vinegar cleaner and a washing-up brush,
−
rub dry with a fluff-free cloth,
−
apply food quality maintenance emulsion and distribute it evenly using a paper towel (kit
chen roll).
