As in any other control procedure take at least 3 samples not exceeding a distance of 4 mm
from each other. The results should not have a difference of more than +/- 6 HDL units. If the
difference should be greater, verify the support of the hydraulic impactor and the correct
support of the test piece.

Note
: To provide accurate results it is of great importance that the test piece absorbs the
kinetic energy of impact fully. Test pieces with a mass greater then 5 kg fulfill this
requirement. Should that not be the case you need to put the test piece on a base so that
both together exceed a mass of 5 kg. The test piece has to be connected with the base using
the in the delivery provided paste.
