When turning on the gauge following screen will appear. This is the main screen in which all
measurements are executed.

4.1 Adjust Measurement Parameters

To executed a metering correctly it is crucial to adjust the measurement settings depending
on the situation. By pressing the right screen key (
Chang
) once it is possible to adjust the
material to the test piece´material. By pressing that button twice it is possible to adjust the
unit (HLD, HRC etc). If the button is pressed thrice the measurement angle can be adjusted.
That means, if one holds the hydraulic impactor e.g. horizontal, while measuring, 180 degree
(

) must be adjusted. If not the result will be wrong. Alternatively these settings may be
adjusted also trough pressing the
Menu
button and then going on
Settings
.
