Clean external surface of the blade, wand and handle with a
damp cloth or soft brush using warm water and soap, isopropyl
alcohol solution or other anti-microbial disinfectant to remove
any deposits. A pH neutral cleaning solutions recommended.

For high-level disinfection use Cidex® 2.4% glutaraldehyde
solution or similar disinfectant. Follow manufacturer’s usage
instructions. To avoid damage, do not soak handles in
disinfectant or washing solutions for ≥ 20 minutes.
•
For sterilization, use Steris® or STERRAD® low temperature
sterilization processing. Temperatures should not exceed 140
°
F

C) and/or 28 minute cycles. Refer to Table 1.
NOTE:
•
Given the electrical componentry, the video blade should not be
exposed to extreme temperatures during cleaning.
•
DO NOT AUTOCLAVE THE VIDEO HANDLE, BLADE OR WAND.
•
Do not use abrasive cleaning techniques or ultrasonically clean.
•
Ensure the handle, blade and wand are dry & fully checked prior
to storage
Handles, blades and wands should always be tested after cleaning
and prior to use.
Disposable Sheath
The sheath is disposable and intended for single patient use. Do not
reuse or sterilize. Dispose of after each use.
Video Accessories
All cables and other ancillary devices should be cleaned by wiping with a
70% isopropyl alcohol solution, or a mild detergent and water.
Do not immerse these items in fluids. Care should be taken to prevent
excessive moisture from penetrating transmitter and display housings
