ONNECTING THE BASE
On the underside of the base, click the phone jack into its socket and connect the other end of
the cord to the telephone wall outlet.
Connect the end of the power supply cord on the underside of the base and connect the power
adapter to the mains socket. The phone display is turned on.
Before making any connections, please refer to the safety instructions
presented at the beginning of this user guide.
The CC220R can operate, even in the event of a power outage. The backup
batteries will thus take over to provide 4 hours of talk time on battery
power (2 hours if the call is in speakerphone mode). In the event of a
power outage, all features will remain operative except the backlighting
and the handset automatic pickup (to take the line in this mode, you have
to lift the handset and press its single button).
If a power outage occurs and the batteries are discharged, the phone is
not operative.
It should be noted that the batteries are charged when the base is
electrically powered.
