Turn off your phone. Use a soft damp cloth to wipe it. Do not use a dry cloth, strong liquid
detergents, thinners, alcohol or any other type of solvent to clean your phone. These products
may damage your phone.

Power line

No tone.
The phone jack is not
connected or is
incorrectly connected.
Check the phone cable connection to the wall outlet

Make sure you have a dialling tone.
The speaker volume is
too low.
Increase the speaker volume (“Receiving a call”
page 16).
The phone
does not ring
when a call is
received.
The mute mode is
turned on.
Turn off the mute mode (“Activating/deactivating the
silent mode” page 25).
Your party
cannot hear
you.
You have turned on the
mute mode
(microphone off).
Turn off the mute mode (microphone cut off) by
pressing the key
.
Make sure that the “MODE SECRET” message is
not displayed.
You obtain a
“busy” dial tone
for each dialled
number.
Incorrect
flashing time.
Set the flashing time (“Modifying the flash duration

Contact your operator to get it to provide you with
the right time.
