LADDER CAGE

INSTALLATION
Cage assembly should be completed on the ground prior to mounting to ladder sections
.
Measure required cage length by measuring from top
of ladder stiles down to ladder landing.
Cage must start
between 2000 to 2200mm
above
ladder landing.
Cage may require fine adjustment by shortening or lengthening on site to allow for correct head clearance
distance from landing.
Shortening can be achieved by cutting down cage bars. Additional holes are present to allow 150mm increments
(maximum 300mm unless additional holes are drilled) or decreasing clearance height to 2000mm from ladder
landing.
Lengthening can be achieved by adjusting the distance between cage sections (maximum space 150mm) and
increasing base clearance height to 2200mm from ladder landing. Once cage length has been confirmed assembly
can begin.
ASSEMBLY
1.
Bolt cage bars to the cage hoops.
Ensure bars are fitted to the inside of hoops
only, as pictured.
2.
Bolt cage halves to one another.
