Tighten Belt
Place hand in child restraint.
Firmly push child restraint down
and towards the vehicle seat
back while pulling the free end
of the belt parallel with the
belt path through the belt path
opening as shown.

Check Belt Tightness
Hold child restraint at the belt
path with your weaker hand.
Push and pull from side to side.
It should not move more than
2.5 cm
(1 in.).
If it moves more than 2.5 cm (1 in.),
you can try:
A.
Pulling the belt tighter.
B.
Reinstalling the child restraint.
C.
Changing to a different seating location.
D.
Switching to vehicle belt installation.

Depending on Your Model:
Attach UAS Connectors
or Hooks to Vehicle’s UAS
Anchors in Seat Bight
Review your vehicle owner’s
manual for UAS anchor locations
and UAS belt use.
Fasten one connector or hook to
one vehicle UAS anchor bar.
Then repeat for the second
connector or hook on the other
side of the car seat.
For UAS Connectors:
Make
sure arrows on connectors are
facing up.
Check Rear-Facing Level

Recline the Car Seat
Pull out on recline handle and
push top of child restraint back.
