Reclining the Car Seat

This car seat has 3 positions.
To Recline:
Pull out on recline handle
and push top of child restraint back.
For More Upright:
Pull out on recline
handle and pull top of child restraint
forward.
Rear-Facing Mode

When used in
Forward-Facing
or
Booster Seat
mode, the
semi-reclined position is to be used only to install the child
restraint or booster seat flush against the vehicle seat back.
Vehicle seat back must be upright.
Installing Anti-Rebound Bar
Place Car Seat Upside Down on
Stable Flat Surface
Line the bottom of the car seat up with
the edge of the surface as shown.
Fully Recline Car Seat
Locate Anti-Rebound Bar
Connection Openings in Car
Seat
Attach Anti-Rebound Bar
to Car Seat
Firmly push the ends of the anti-
rebound bar into the openings in the
car seat until the bar cannot go any
farther.
Pull up on anti-rebound bar to make
sure it is locked securely in place.

The anti-rebound bar must be used in
Rear-Facing
Mode.
The anti-rebound bar must be removed when using
Forward-Facing
or
Booster Seat
Mode.
