TESTING

Internal dial tone

Phone line dial tone

SafeLine 3000 will make a self test

LED 3 fl ashes green 5 times.

Short tone in the speaker.

LED 1 turns green.

LED 3 fl ashes green if valid telephone 

line connected.

Connect a telephone to the RJ12 connector 

on the front of the SafeLine 3000

All LEDs are off

No tone

No reaction

No connection

LED 3 fl ashes red 5 times.

Long tone in the speaker.

Press

 

Dial out

Go to Troubleshoot, page 30.

Check the handset

Check mains power

Check battery voltage

Connect 230 VAC

Connect 12V battery plug

LED 1 is fl ashing red

Lift the handset

Check the mic and speaker connections
