Switching RECOBOY On
Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to switch on the product. The
product will switch to standby mode.
Alternatively, you can press the REC/PAUSE button.

The power will be automatically shut off if you do not do activate
any functions for 1 minute (i.e. if you don't use your RECOBOY for
one minute).

Locking the button (HOLD)
HOLD function is useful for preventing false operation during play or
recording.
1. Press and hold MENU(M) button (for about 2 seconds) in the
standby state to set the lock state (HOLD ON).
If you press any other button while the unit is in HOLD ON mode,
the LCD displays 'ON HOLD' and pressing the button will not
result in any response from the unit. (Figure 2-1)
2. Press and hold MENU/HOLD button (for about 2 seconds) in the
hold on state to release lock state.
The LCD will display 'OFF HOLD' indicating that the lock mode
has been released. (Figure 2-2)

Static discharge or poor contact due to an external impact during battery
replacement may cause the product to malfunction. Remove the batteries and
insert them into the battery compartment again if this happens.
Remove the batteries from the main unit if you do not intend to use this product
for a prolonged period of time. (Leaking batteries may cause the damage to the
product)
If you don't use FM radio receiver, you should disconnect FM radio receiver from
the main unit. It will help to save a battery.

Replace the batteries if mode 3 and mode 4 are displayed one after another.
