SIGNAL ID
SIGNAL ID is available only for the 1 MHz RBW.
Tapping the SIGNAL ID button turns on and off a filter algorithm that reduces the
power levels of the harmonic signals. These artificial signals may become visible on
screen, if the input power is high and the span is comparatively large.
Enabling the SIGNAL ID slows down the sweeping. To observe the operation of
SIGNAL ID, enable and disable it repeatedly and compare the displayed power levels.
When SIGNAL ID is enabled, the SIGNAL ID button is green in the SETTINGS menu
and an indication “ID MODE” is shown under the graph on the left side. SIGNAL ID is
disabled by default.
