ABOUT
The ABOUT menu contains information about the Spectrum Compact device:
supported frequency range, product number, serial number, hardware and firmware
versions, and issue date. To exit the ABOUT menu and return to the TOOLS menu, tap
BACK.

SERVICE MENU
SERVICE MENU allows determining how the Spectrum Compact behaves when
connected to a computer.
USB MODE
The submenu USB MODE allows setting the Spectrum Compact to either
Mass Storage Device (MSD) mode or to Virtual COM Port (VCP) mode. The
MSD mode allows obtaining files saved on the Spectrum Compact.
When Spectrum Compact is connected to a computer in MSD mode, it is not
possible to save or delete spectrum curves, records and profiles, or to take
screenshots.
The VCP mode allows opening a serial connection.
Before changing the USB mode from MSD to VCP, stop any ongoing file transfer
to or from Spectrum Compact and close files opened directly from Spectrum
Compact’s drive.
