Alarm Port

The alarm port is an optional feature.
The alarm port comprises:

The set of

outputs

 of relay switches for the CFM site supervision, the outputs are:

Power Alarm, - warns about any problems with DC power supply of the CFM

site;

Synch Lost (SL) alarm, - this alarm triggers if multiplexer frame synchronization

is lost;

Radio Alarm (RA), - warns about the problem with ODU and/or IDU-ODU

cable and/or received signal level is too low;

TxPLL Alarm, - Tx Phase-locked Loop failure;

The set of user

inputs

, these inputs are used to connect an external device that requires to be

supervised.

The alarm port inputs and outputs can be supervised via SNMP manager and/or Web console.
The alarm port has a DB25 type connector and is located on the rear panel of the IDU.

For  more  detailed  information  about  alarm  port,  please  refer  to  the  Configuration  Guide,  the
available configuration guides for the CFM equipment are listed in Chapter References.
