Apply a thin layer of grease around the shaft in the bottom of the
brew group.

Apply a thin layer of grease to the rails on both sides (see figure).

Insert the brew group as described in section 'Weekly cleaning of
the brew group'.
You can use the grease tube multiple times.
Cleaning the milk carafe
Carafe quick clean
Place a container under the milk froth dispensing spout and pull
out the milk froth dispensing spout.After preparing a milk-based
beverage, the carafe cleaning icon appears on the display.

When the carafe cleaning icon appears on the display, press the
OK button if you want to perform a cleaning cycle.
Tip: Remove the cup with the beverage and place a container under
the milk froth dispensing spout.

Place a container under the milk froth dispensing spout and pull
out the milk froth dispensing spout.

Press the OK button to start dispensing hot water.
To clean the milk carafe thoroughly, you have to do the following
regularly:

Disassemble the top of the milk carafe.

Remove the lid of the milk carafe.
