Description of main components
The CdS.C electrostatic filtering section is made of
three components:

A-B. Aluminium sheets active electronic

Induced frame: high-voltage ionising electrodes
and insulating elements forming a self-support-
ing frame integral with the containment frame

Filter pack: consisting of aluminium foils set al-
ternately at intermediate induced voltage and at
ground voltage. The static electric field generat-
ed attracts the polluting particles onto the foils.
This pack of foils can be easily removed from the
self-supporting frame for internal maintenance
and cleaning.
C. Control panel (version fitted on the unit)
The control panel (version fitted on the unit) is placed
on the external structure.
The control panel, the main element of the filtration
module’s electrical equipment, is intended as a high
voltage signal generator (KVdc) for the primary cir-
cuit integrated in the filter pack’s containment frame.
The control panel is powered with a nominal voltage
of 230Vac@50Hz.
The hardware also features a visual signalling out-
put (LEd) as well as an additional SPdT free voltage
output, both related to the operating status of the
filtering section.
A LEd indicates that the electronic filter is working
properly (steady LEd) and that it needs to be cleaned
(flashing LEd).
