ASSEMBLY

WARNING:

Do not connect to power supply until assembly is
complete. Failure to comply could result in accidental
starting and possible serious personal injury.

INSTALLING THE INLET COVER DOOR

See Figure 2.

WARNING:

Except when operating as a vacuum, the inlet cover door
must always be installed and securely closed. Failure to
follow these instructions can result in serious personal
injury.

Slide the ribbed tab on the inlet cover door into the slot

on the blower housing.

Close the door and tighten the wing knob to secure.

NOTE: The wing knob must be tightened completely for
the blower to operate.

ASSEMBLING THE UNIT FOR BLOWER
OPERATION

See Figure 3.

To assemble the unit for blower operation:

Slide blower tube onto blower housing until the button

on the blower housing clicks into the slot on the tube.

NOTE: The blower tube must be correctly installed for
the blower to operate.

To remove, depress the button on the blower housing

and remove the tube.

The high velocity nozzle on the end of the blower tube can

be removed to allow a larger area to be covered during
blower operation. To remove, lift the flap and slide the
nozzle off. To reinstall, slide nozzle on tube until the tab
on the blower tube snaps into the slot on nozzle flap.

ASSEMBLING THE UNIT FOR VACUUM
 OPERATION

See Figures 4- 6.

To install the vacuum bag:

Slide the vacuum bag inlet onto blower housing until the

button on the blower housing clicks into the slot on the
bag outlet.

NOTE: The vacuum bag must be correctly installed for
the blower to operate.

To install the vacuum tubes:

Secure the upper and lower vacuum tubes together by

aligning the raised tabs on the upper tube with the slots
on the lower tube. Push the tubes together until the tabs
snap securely into the slots.

Loosen the wing knob on the inlet cover door. Remove

inlet cover and set aside.

WARNING:

Rotating impeller blades can cause severe injury. Always
stop the motor, unplug the power cord from the power
source, and ensure impeller blades have stopped rotat-
ing before removing the inlet cover or installing/chang-
ing tubes. Do not put hands or any other object into the
vacuum tubes while they are installed on the unit. Failure
to follow these instructions can result in serious personal
injury.

Insert the side of the vacuum tube with the ribbed tab

into the slot on the blower housing opposite the power
cord.

Tighten the wing knob to secure the other side of the

vacuum tube.

NOTE: The wing knob must be tightened completely for
the blower to operate.

To remove the vacuum tubes:

Loosen the wing knob on the vacuum tube.

Remove the ribbed tab from the slot opposite the power

cord and remove tube assembly.

Reinstall inlet cover and secure with wing knob.

NOTE: The wing knob must be tightened completely for
the blower to operate.
