selector dial to the largest micron setting. Once the spray is
even and consistent, release the switch trigger and rotate
the nozzle selector dial to the desired position.
USING THE ELECTROSTATIC FUNCTION
See Figure 7.
To activate electrostatic mode:
Press switch located on the bottom right side of the unit
to ON position.
To deactivate electrostatic mode:
Press switch located on the bottom right side of the unit
to OFF position.
USING THE 3-IN-1 ROTATING NOZZLE
See Figure 8.
There are three spray pattern settings located on the 3-in-1
rotating nozzle. To select a spray pattern, rotate the nozzle
selector to the desired spray pattern.
Low coverage – 65 microns (TX-1.5)
Medium coverage – 85 microns (TG-0.4)
High coverage – 160 microns (TG-1)
NOTE:
If nozzles become clogged, see instructions in
Main-
tenance
section to clear blockage.
USING THE SPRAYER
See Figure 9.
DANGER:
Improper application of chemicals or solutions can result
in SEVERE INJURY or DEATH. Follow all CDC and EPA
guidelines. Follow the chemical manufacturer’s safety
instructions and guidelines listed on the SDS sheet.
Install the battery pack into the tool.
OPERATION
Direct the sprayer nozzle directly at the surface areas you
wish to treat.
Depress the switch trigger to begin spraying.
Spray on a dry surface using long, even, overlapping
strokes.
Release the trigger to stop the spray.
Always empty, clean, and drain the tank after every use
as directed in the
Maintenance
section.
Thoroughly clean the sprayer before storing or before
switching to a different chemical. See
Cleaning the Unit
later in this manual.
NOTE:
Wipe the outside of the tank with a dry cloth and
clean up any spills before inserting the tank.
When you are finished with the sprayer, thoroughly wash
your hands and any area where skin has been exposed
to the mist.
Make sure electrostatic function is turned off.
Remove the battery pack and thoroughly clean the sprayer
before transporting or storing the unit and before switching
to a different chemical. See
Cleaning the Unit
later in
this manual.
OPERATING TIPS
Never point the spray end of the sprayer at yourself or
others.
Avoid spraying on windy days. Mist can be accidentally
blown onto plants or objects that should not be sprayed.
Never point sprayer in the direction of people or animals;
always direct downwind.
Especially in warmer weather, use sprayer in the early
morning or late afternoon. Excessive heat can evaporate
the mist before it settles.
Never smoke, eat, or drink while operating the sprayer.
Do not touch nozzles when sprayer is in operation.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING:
Always wear eye protection with side shields or goggles
marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1. Failure to do so could
result in fluids entering your eyes resulting in possible
serious injury.
