ADDITIONAL BATTERY SAFETY WARNINGS
WARNING

ow inside them. Corrosive or conductive
fl
uids, such
as seawater, certain industrial chemicals, and bleach
or bleach-containing product, etc., can cause a short
circuit.
TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
■
Stop the product and allow it to cool down before storing
or transporting. Do not store or transport the product
with batteries fitted. Remove, and secure separately.
■
Clean all foreign material from the product. Store it in a
cool, dry, and well-ventilated place that is inaccessible
to children. Do not store outdoors.
■
Store unused repellent mats a tightly closed container
and keep in a cool, dry place that is inaccessible to
children. Keep the mats also away from any sources
of ignition or heat.
TRANSPORTING LITHIUM BATTERIES
Transport the battery in accordance with local and national
provisions and regulations. Follow all special requirements
on packaging and labelling when transporting batteries by
a third party.
Ensure that no batteries can come in contact with other
batteries or conductive materials while in transport by
protecting exposed connectors with insulating, non-
conductive caps or tape. Do not transport batteries that are
cracked or leaking. Check with the forwarding company for
further advice.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING
Use only original manufacturer’s replacement parts,
accessories, and attachments. Failure to do so can
cause possible injury, contribute to poor performance,
and may void your warranty.
WARNING
Servicing requires extreme care and knowledge
and should be performed only by a quali
fi
ed service
technician. For service, bring the product to the nearest
authorised service centre for repair. When servicing, use
only original replacement parts.

Switch off the product and remove the battery pack
before conducting any maintenance or cleaning work.
■
You may make adjustments and repairs if described in
this manual. For other repairs, contact the authorised
service centre.
■
Before any maintenance or adjustment, disable the
product by removing the power source.
■
Bring the product to an authorised service centre to
replace damaged or unreadable labels.
RISK REDUCTION
It has been known that risk may arise when the product is in
use. There are measures that can be taken by the operator
to reduce hazards.
■
Inhalation. If inhaled, move to an area where there is
fresh air.
■
Skin irritation. If skin irritation occurs, remove clothing
and shoes immediately and wash the skin with soap
and water.
■
Eye contact. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse with
water immediately. Check and remove contact lenses if
needed. Avoid rubbing the eyes with the hands.
