Before Using Your Iron For The First Time 

Clean the water tank and the steam vents in the soleplate to remove dust, 
which may have accumulated during the manufacturing process. Some 
vapour may be given off when the iron is first used. This is quite safe and 
will stop after a short time.

Read the instruction manual carefully from beginning to end. 

2.

 

Remove any protective wrappings or stickers from the soleplate and 
cabinet. 

3.

 

Unwind and straighten the power cord. 

4.

 

Fill the iron as described in “How to fill the Tank with water”. 

5.

 

Connect the iron to a suitable mains supply outlet. 

6.

 

The LCD will light up for a second and one beep can be heard. 

7.

 

“STANDBY” will flash on the LCD

Set the temperature to

(3 dots) by control button as described in 

“How to set temperature”.

The “Standby” will flash to indicate the iron is heating up.

When the required temperature is reached; the “STANDBY” will be gone 
and the iron will beep twice.    The iron is ready for use.

Move the Steam Control/Self-Cleaning Knob to      position; steam starts 
coming out from the holes in the soleplate.

Begin first time by ironing with an old towel.   

13.

 

When the water tank is empty and there is no more steam produced; 
the preparation work is completed. The iron is now ready for proper use. 

 

Finish ironing fabric. The iron is now ready for 
general use. 
 
Dry Ironing 

1.

 

Connect the iron to a suitable mains supply outlet. 

2.

 

The LCD lights up for a second and one beep can be heard. 

3.

 

“STANDBY” will flash on LCD. 

4.

 

To select the temperature setting according to the recommendation of 
the garment label, depress the control button. See “How To Set 
Temperature”.

 

5.

 

When the required temperature has been reached; the “STANDBY” will 
be gone and there will be two beeps. 

6.

 

The iron is now ready for use. 

7.

 

To switch off the appliance, depress and hold the control button for 2 
seconds. The LCD will go blank with a long beep and “STANDBY” will 
flash on the LCD display. 

8.

 

Disconnect the iron from the mains supply outlet
