DON’TS 

1.

 

Do not allow children to touch the iron or the power cord when ironing. 

2.

 

Do not leave the iron unattended when it is connected to a mains supply 
outlet. 

3.

 

Do not use an extension power cord set unless competent authority has 
approved it. 

4.

 

Do not add perfumed water, vinegar or other chemical liquids into the 
water tank; they can seriously damage the iron. 

5.

 

Do not immerse the iron in water or any other liquid. 

6.

 

Do not use the iron when it is damaged or works improperly. 

7.

 

Do not roll the power cord around the iron for storage until it has 
completely cooled down. 

8.

 

Do not attempt to open the cabinets or dismantle any parts from the 
iron; there are no serviceable parts inside. 

9.

 

Do not attempt to replace the power cord or any other parts by yourself; 
take the iron to a service company or to the shop where you bought it 
from as special tools are required for repair purposes. 

10.

 

The appliances’ power cable must not be replaced by the user, as special 
tools are required in order to replace it. In the event of damage to the 
cable, or if the cable needs replacing, contact the nearest after-sales 
assistance centre authorized by the manufacturer only.
