Distinguish the left and the right rear brackets according to the marked directions.
The rear brackets provided are only applicable for cabinets with depth of 800mm - 1200mm.
Mounting the Switch to a Workbench
In some cases, users do not have the 19-inch standard cabinet. The common solution is to place the switch on a clean
workbench. Place the switch on the workbench and ensure good ventilation condition around the switch.
3.5 Installing and Removing a Fan Module
Wear anti-static gloves before the following operations.
Installing an Fan Module
1)
Take out a new fan module from the fan module box.
2)
Hold the handle at the end of the fan module. Insert the fan module to the chassis slowly along the guide rail until it
is fully seated, and make sure that it is in good contact with the slot.
3)
Tighten the captive screws with a screwdriver to fix the fan module in the switch chassis.

Insert the fan module smoothly. Pay attention to the direction of the fan panel to avoid wrong insertion.
If the position is not proper, withdraw the inserted module and re-insert it.
If the screws cannot be tightened, it is probably because the fan module is not fully inserted. Please check it
carefully.
Removing a Fan Module
1.
Loosen the captive screws of the fan module with a screwdriver.
2.
Hold the handle at the end of the fan module, and withdraw the fan module slowly.
3.
Install a blank panel and put the removed fan module into its package
