Maintenance
9.1 C-shaped rail
Depending on the frequency of use, the C-shaped
rails of the door guides on the left and right should
be cleaned and lubricated at least twice per heating
period!
1. Slide door completely upwards
2. Cover chimney sill with pieces of newspaper or
rags in the areas of the door guide on the left and
right
3. Spray running surfaces of C-shaped rails on the
left and right with "Rüegg Multispray DW-40" (in-
cluded in your operation set) over the whole
length
4. Slide door completely upwards and downwards
for 5 to 10 times
5. Clean running surfaces of C-shaped rails on the
left and right using a rag or paper towels.
6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 until the door can be easily
moved

Grill holding socket
Depending on the frequency of use, the grill holding
socket should be cleaned and lubricated at least
twice per heating period!
1. Slide door completely upwards
2. Sparsely spray "Rüegg Multispray DW-40" onto
the grill holding socket
CAUTION
Risk of burning with hot fireplace.

Only perform with cooled-down fireplace
