Items to be checked before starting the machine

Before using this machine, verify that no parts are worn out, da-

maged or broken. Should you find any part that is not in proper

condition, have it repaired or replaced immediately.

The input voltage must be the same as the voltage indicated on the

machine features label. 230V machines can also be connected to

210V / 240V. 110V can also be connected to 100V / 120V.

Incorrect use may damage the tool.

Follow the instructions below:

- Only use mixing tools up to the maximum indicated

 diameter.

- When using the mixing tool, make sure the revolutions

do not drop sharply or the machine stops.

Switching on and off

Switching on

- First press the switch retention off button and then press

the on switch.

Switching off

- Release the on switch to turn off the machine.

Mechanical speed regulator

 (fig.1)

- With the machine turned off, turn the switch to change

the speed.

- When the speed cannot be changed by turning the

switch completely, turn the mixer paddles slightly and

then change the speed.

Speed regulation

 (fig.2)

- Press the switch progressively to obtain the desired speed.

- The number of revolutions required depends on the

material and can be determined by testing.

- After working at a low number of revolutions, leave the

machine to operate without load at maximum revolutions

for about 3 minutes so that it cools down.

E. INSTRUCTIONS OF USE

Before any adjusting or fine tuning:

-Turn the machine off.

-Take out the plug.

-Wait until the machine has completely stopped.

MIXER: Inserting the mixer.

FAST-IN connection:

- Insert the M14 tread of the FAST-IN adapter into the axis tool-

holder connection (fig.3). Use  the 19 mm spanner to fix it tight.

- Take out the two parts that make up the mixer paddle from the box.

- Screw the two parts together. Use the 22 mm spanner to screw

in the two parts correctly.

- Insert paddle, aligning pin with adapter’s slot (fig.4).

- Press the protector and insert pin into the slot (fig.5).

- Release the protector and check that the paddle is firmly fixed

and locked (fig.6).

M14 tread connection:

- Screw the top part of the mixer paddle into the mixer output

axis M14 (fig.7).

- Using the 22 mm spanner screw in the mixer paddle tightly, turning

it to the right. Use the 19 mm auxiliary spanner in the output axis

to secure the mixer paddle (fig.8).

REPLACING THE  MIXER:

FAST-IN connection:

- Press the protector and release the paddle.

M14 tread connection:

- Using the 22 mm spanner, unscrew the mixer paddle by turning

to the left.

- If the mixer paddle has got stuck, use a 19 mm auxiliary spanner

on the flat part of the nut.

Recommendations:

- The mixer should keep turning for a while after the machine has

been turned off.

- If the gyratory paddle touches a surface it could cause it to re-

bound.

- Start the machine by pressing the on/off switch lightly to achieve

maximum speed only after the mixer paddle has been introduced

into the mixture.

- The mixer must be selected according to the product to be stirred.

• If the product to be stirred has a low viscosity, the left

propeller mixer should be used.
