6. Preset
6.1. Menu level
The series 1204A peakmeter allows variation of correlator integration time,
peakmeter integration time, peakhold time, input sensitivity and activation
of a calibration mode by two menu levels.
6.1.1. Preset menu level M1
Pressing the SET (LOUD) key for more than 2 seconds starts LED M1
blinking and release of the SET key than calls the preset menu level M1.
This is indicated by LED M1.
S1 (MEMO):
Correlator integration time
can be varied after pressing S1
key. This function is indicated by two segments on the lower bargraph
right above the S1 key. The actual preset value is displayed by the two
outer correlator segments. Blinking red segments indicate fast integration
and green blinking segments indicate slow correlator integration time.
Changes can be made by the use of the NEXT (PHOLD) key.
S2 (GAIN):
Peakmeter integration time
can be set after pressing S2
key by the use of the NEXT (PHOLD) key. LED´s 0,1 msec and 1 msec
indicate the selected integration time. If none of this LED´s is lit the unit
is set to standard integration time 10 msec.
S3 (RESET):
Peakhold
time
can be set after pressing S3 key by the
use of the NEXT (PHOLD) key. The upper bargraph display reads the
selected value. The meaning is:
+1 dB peakhold time 1 sec
+2 dB peakhold time 2 sec
+4 dB peakhold time 4 sec
+5 dB peakhold manual
Pressing the SET button at any time exits the preset mode and saves all
settings in memory. Pressing the SET button for more than 2 seconds
starts LED M2 blinking and release of the SET key than calls the preset
menu level M2.
