Charging
Full charging cycles take 3 hours. The screen on the charger will display a gauge for each
battery to indicate how charged the battery is and will say “Full” when the battery is fully
charged. Before using the light for the first time, make sure a full charge is performed. The
batteries are manufactured to last 500 charge cycles for peak performance.
Battery care
Do not use the battery outside the recommended temperature limits 14° F to 131° F (-10° C to
55° C).
Do not charge the battery outside the recommended temperature limits 32° F to 113° F (0° C
to 45° C).
Do not store the battery outside the recommended temperature limits 14° F to 113° F (-10° C
to 45° C).
Do not disassemble. Do not immerse in water or other liquids.
The battery can short if the contacts are accidentally connected by metal other than the Vision-
Link
™
or the charger. The protections built into the battery will cut off current flow, and the battery
will appear to be dead. To reset the battery, place the battery on the charging station. The battery
will be good to use again.
Before using the Vision-Link
™
: Verify the battery is fully charged:
Make sure the battery is fully charged so work does not need to be stopped to charge or
replace the battery.
Battery and Charger Care
Use only the 09-050 battery charger.
Use only the 09-055 battery in the Vision-Link
™
and do not use the battery in any other
product.
Remove the battery from the charger when charging is complete.
Remove the battery from the Vision-Link
™
when not in use for an extended period of
time.
Keep the battery away from metal objects to avoid short circuiting the battery.
If the battery or charger gets excessively hot, discontinue use and allow them to cool
down.
Make sure the battery is installed in the correct polarity position to avoid damaging the
battery or the light unit.
Disposal
Dispose of batteries according to local regulations. Do not crush, disassemble, dispose of in
standard waste bins, in a fire, or send for incineration. Failure to properly dispose of batteries may
lead to environmental contamination, fire or explosion.
