PRECAUTIONS
n
Wash motorcycle when the engine is cold.
n
Cover the silencer, tail pipe, horn, Control switches,
Instrument cluster & Tripper with suitable plastic bags
and tie it firmly to prevent water entry.
n
Remove ignition key and seal key hole using adhesive
tape.
n
Brush engine area with a solvent to remove dirt or
grease.
n
Use low pressure jet of water to clean.
n
DO NOT spray water directly on the steering stem area
as it will damage the bearings and course the handle
WASHING PROCEDURE

Never spray water with great force on head lamp,
speedometer, flasher lights, front and rear wheel hubs,
electrical connections and wires, control cables,
cables, sparkplug, battery, ABS ECU, EMS ECU, side
mirrors, steering stem etc.

Do not apply any corrosive solvent on painted surfaces
or rubber parts.
n
Use luke warm water and mild detergent on the
painted components to remove dirt, etc.
n
Rinse motorcycle thoroughly with plain water to
remove the detergent.
n
If possible, use compressed air and blow off water
particles from the hard to reach areas of the
motorcycle, electrical connections etc.
