WHEEL REMOVAL / ASSEMBLY
REAR WHEEL REMOVAL
Place motorcycle on center stand on a firm and
flat surface.
Mark the position of the chain
adjuster butting with the stopper on
the Left side of the swing arm fork.
Hold the axle firmly and remove
the nut on the right side.
Pull out the axle from the left side
along with the chain adjuster, taking
care not to drop the wheel collar
and the spacers on the left side.
Tilt the motorcycle slightly to the
right and pull out the rear wheel
from the sprocket lugs.
REAR WHEEL REASSEMBLY
Ensure the 4 cush rubbers are seated properly in
the rear wheel hub in their locations.
Slide the wheel in position between
the swing arms and locate the cush
rubber in the sprocket lugs
correctly such that the wheel is
positioned straight.
Hold the wheel collar and spacer in
place between the wheel hub and the left side swing
arm with ensuring spacer orientation and slide the
wheel axle with the chain adjuster fully and firmly
through the collar, spacer and rear wheel.
Locate the chain adjuster in the marked position
against the stopper in the swing arm.
Hold the axle firmly from the left and tighten the
nut fully on the axle on the right.
C A U T I O N
Never hammer the wheel axle thro the spacer and
rear wheel to prevent damage to its threads. Guide
it into the wheel gently.
