Safety information
Folding system in operationally reliable state
Operating the Folding system when it is not in an operationally
reliable state can result in significant property damage and personal
injury.
- Do not use the Folding system unless it is in an operationally
reliable state.

5.3
Connecting to the Electric Circuit
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to improper connection to the electric circuit
Improperly connecting the Folding system to the electric circuit can
result in significant property damage and personal injury.
- Use a VDE-inspected grounded receptacle exclusively for
connecting the Folding system.
- Ensure that the receptacle is protected with a circuit breaker up
to 10 A.
- When connecting multiple devices to a receptacle using an
extension cable or multiple socket outlet, make sure that total
current consumption does not exceed 10 A.
- Use a receptacle located near the Folding system.
NOTICE
Material damage due to unreliable line voltage
Supplying the Folding system with unreliable line voltage can result
in significant material damage.
- Only operate the Folding system using the line power specified
on the rating plate.
Before you begin working with the Folding system, connect the
Folding system to the electrical circuit via the power supply unit.
1. Insert the jack of the power supply unit provided into the
connector on the rear of the Folding system.
2. Connect the power supply unit plug to a receptacle.
