Do not operate on steep slopes as over turn may result. Operate up and down (not across)
intermediate slopes. Avoid sudden starts and stops. Pick the most level possible route when
transporting across fields. Avoid the edges of ditches or gullies and steep hill sides.
Keep transmissions in gear when traveling down hill.
Stay clear of rotating drivelines.
Entanglement in rotating driveline can cause serious injury or death.
Keep tractor master shield and driveline shields in place at all times.
Make sure rotating shields turn freely.
Wear close fitting clothing. Stop the engine and be sure PTO driveline is stopped before
making adjustments, connections, or cleaning out PTO driven equipment.
Keep sparks, lighted matches and open flame away from the top of battery. Battery gas can
explode.
Avoid over head wires or other obstacles. Contact with over head lines could cause serious
injury or death.
As a precaution, always recheck the hardware on mixer/feeder following every 100 hours of
operation. Correct all problems. Follow the maintenance safety procedures.
