Check tightness of the joints:
- Always make sure the tightness of all joints. The best way to do this is using a leak detection spray (Art. No.
65000).
- Open all valves except that on the handle. Spray the leak detection fluid onto the joints to be tested and
observe them. A leak or a unsealed point is indicated by bubbles.
The device is now ready for use.
Before you light the torch make sure that all connections are gas-tight.
USING THE APPLIANCE
- Open the valve of the oxygen pressure reducer (1 - blue) by turning in the blue control knob anticlockwise.
- Then, open the gas control valve (2 - orange) by turning the control knob anticlockwise (responds at just
about half a turn).
- Firstly open the fine control valve for gas (6b - orange) on the handle by turning the fuel gas valve wheel,
and then ignite the flame. Finally, open the fine control valve for oxygen (6a - blue). (If necessary, open the
oxygen valve slightly before lighting to avoid soot formation)
- Now, the flame as well as the working pressure can be adjusted as desired by turning the fine control valve
for gas (6b - orange) and the fine control valve for oxygen (6a - blue) on the handle.
Recommended:
For welding, we recommend using a neutral flame.
For soldering, we recommend using a flame with
excess gas.
For heating, for example, for bending work, we
recommend using a flame with excess oxygen.
Important:
When work is interrupted, the valves on the pressure reducing valves, cylinders, handle and, if
necessary, the cylinder should always be closed. In addition, pressure reducer and gas control
valve should be dismounted after completion of the work.
