- Clean the device regularly with a dry cloth.
- The nozzles should be cleaned with a nozzle cleaner or hardwood block.
- When using the nozzle cleaner, the oxygen valve on the handle should be opened. When cleaning using
the hardwood block, the nozzle tip should be dabbed on the hardwood block using an ignited torch. A
contaminated nozzle can be recognised by a crackling flame.

- The item is generally maintenance free but should be cleaned regularly.
- Do not modify the device in any way.
- If the device develops a fault have it repaired by a specialist workshop or contact the manufacturer. See the
address at the back of the manual.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Worn out devices must be recycled at a suitable recycling facility. Do not dispose of with the household
waste. For further information contact your local authority. Dispose of the packaging material according to
the type of material and according to any local regulations.
RECYCLING
• When not in use keep the item in a safe, cool, dry and well-ventilated place out of the reach of children.
- Protect from direct sunlight and never expose it to temperatures above 50 °C.
- The cylinders should be dismounted when being transported in vehicles. Store and transport the cylinder
only in a standing condition and fix it.
- During transport, oxygen cylinders must be placed in suitable transport crates, which are firmly attached to
the vehicle.
