Timing Tab
Table 3 summarizes the read-only information displayed in the Timing tab.
DNS # Specifies the IP address of the DNS server
that the BAP will communicate with. The
default is 192.168.0.1.
Method Auto The settings will be assigned by a DHCP
server in your facility
Manual The user manually supplies the Ethernet
settings
Unknown The specified port is not used. This option is
not implemented for the Gb1 port.
DHCP Automates the assignment of the Ethernet
settings
State (read-only) Activated The specified port is active and is
communicating with valid settings
Disconnected Communication to the specified port is
interrupted. Verify that the settings are
correct and the port is physically cabled
correctly.
Unavailable The specified port is not active and is not
configured for use.
Edit Click this button to edit the Address, Subnet Mask, gateway, and
Method fields for the Gb1 port
Apply Click this button to apply the new settings to the Gb1 port
Result (read-only) Success The settings are valid and applied. The
specified port is now active.
Problem: x , y Indicates that the specified port is
experiencing an error where:
•
x states the type of problem
• y indicates the possible cause

Item Parameters Description
NTP Status OK (Green) Indicates a valid time source is reporting to
the BAP
Apply Changes (Yellow) At least one NTP Server address has
changed. Click Apply to save the new
setting(s).
Not Running (Red) Software was not able to start NTP client
No Servers Configured
(Red)
The NTP Server fields are blank
