Monitoring, terminating foam operation
3.3.2 Monitoring During Operation
The DIGIDOS should always be within arm’s length of the
machinist.
Continuous checking of:
water and foam compound tanks contents.
- fuel supply, coolant temperature.
- If unusual noises occur (e.g. cavitation, etc.), reduce the
speed or switch off the pump system.
CAUTION!
If the system is a danger for persons (e.g. a burst fire hose),
the speed must be reduced immediately or the pressure
outlet must be closed; switch off the system if necessary.

Flushing and Purging
The direct-injection foam proportioner must be flushed after
each operation. If you do not flush the system, it makes in the
worst case impossible to operate the foam pump.
During the operation you must flush, when the foam compound
is changed.
If foam compounds that are not frost-proof are used, the risk of
freezing damage by danger of frost is given.
NOTE!
If no outlets are opened, the ventilation valve is opened
automatically during the flushing procedure.
