Standalone Upgrade Cards 

Standalone Upgrade cards are cards that provide specific functionality. They have interconnect ports, and can 

be installed independently of other cards. The Orion Xtender has a USB 2.0 upgrade card with CATx or single-

mode fiber interconnect.
