System Overview
The Orion XTender consists of at least one Transmitter unit and one Receiver unit. The Transmitter unit is
installed at the local site, and the Receiver unit is installed at the remote site. At the local site, the Transmitter
module is connected directly to the source (computer, CPU) using the supplied cables. The Receiver unit is
connected to the console peripherals (monitor, keyboard and mouse) at the remote site. The Transmitter and
Receiver units communicate through the interconnect cables (CATx or Fiber).
