The event block for a channel is shown in Figure 2.4 and the DCM module supports five-channel event
blocks.
Select voltage or current as an input signal, and select Over or Under as an event type. Voltage/Current
data to be monitored are data generated by dividing the data obtained every 20 ms with the
measurement resolution of 1 ms by the number of data samples. An event is divided into a start event
and an end event. Detailed descriptions of events are shown in the table below.

Start level
Configures the threshold 1 level for detection of the start of an event
Residual level
The threshold 2 level is available only for detection of Under event. An Under event occurs when
the measured value is above the threshold 2 value but is below the threshold 1 value, and the
value is maintained during the set delay time.
Hysteresis
If the measured value frequently rises above or falls below the threshold value, many events may
occur. Therefore, it is necessary to set a proper hysteresis value for effective event management.
Setting the hysteresis value is not supported on the LCD screen of the DCM module. It is
possible to set the value only via communication. The default value is 2%.
End level
In case of Over event, the end level is determined by subtracting the hysteresis from the
threshold 1 value. In case of Under event, the end level is determined by adding the hysteresis to
the threshold 1 value.
Time delay
When the measured value rises above the threshold value, and the set delay time elapses, a start
event occurs. If the measured value exceeds the threshold value but is not maintained during the
set delay time, a start event does not occur.
DO operation
When a start event occurs, a command can be issued to a DO channel, and the feature can be
set to Disable/Enable.
Start event
When the measured value rises above the threshold value, and the set delay time elapses, a start
event occurs. The start event occurs again after an event ends and the measured value exceeds
the threshold value again. When a start event occurs, the event LED blinks. If DO channels are
