Hat Sections are supplied in 20’ lengths. They are joined end to end with Hat Splices and Tek screws as shown in
Figure 13. Splices can be at any point along the screen and do not need to be located over a vertical frame tube.

If panels are to be installed in horizontal orientation, please skip to next section.
As illustrated in Figure 14, vertically oriented panels
are mounted to the Hat Sections installed in the
previous step. Panel extension past the upper and
lower Hat Sections should be equidistant. Panels
should be fastened to Hat Sections with screws
appropriate for the type of panels being installed.
Ribbed style panels are fastened through the face of
the panel and use color matched screws, Part# S16.
Concealed fastener panels, such as Flush Panels, do
not need color matched screws and can use standard
Tek3 screws, Part# S10.
