Battery Charging & Removal
To charge the battery: This can either be done in situ or via removing the battery first. The
charge point is situated under the handle on the right hand side of the battery.
Turn on the charger first prior to plugging it in to the battery (the charger should indicate a
green light). When plugging the charger in to the charge point the light will turn from green to
red to indicate it is charging. It will then change from red to green to indicate when it is charged.
(you can then remove the charger)
Step 1
Insert the key in to the lock found near the rear of the battery rack. Push the key in so the
ignition barrel depresses slightly and turn the key clockwise 90 degrees then pull out the key
out. This should release the lock and it will spring outwards .
Step 2
Once the lock has released outwards turn the key back to the 12 o clock position to be able to
remove it. Check the pin underneath the battery has released leaving it clear thus to allow the
battery to be removed.
Step 3
When this is all done correctly, you can then pick up the
handle of the battery and slide the battery out. This should
release relatively easy. If it does not then check points 1 &
2 again to avoid damaging the battery casing.
(DO NOT
KEEP PULLING AS THE BATTERY WILL BREAK)
TIP: Keep
the battery plate greased to aid ease of sliding in and out.
