Before using the machine for the first time, carefully read these instructions for use and keep them for future
reference.

Only use this machine for the purpose described in the instructions.
>
Avoid touching the hot surfaces when the machine is switched on.
>
Don’t switch on the machine without espresso pod.
>
Don’t use the machine without water.
>
Never pour milk or carbonated water in the water tank.
>
Only connect the machine to alternating current to an earthed wall socket. Check that the mains voltage
complies with the information on the machine’s type plate.
>
Make sure the mains cable does not have a sharp bend or runs over a hot surface.
>
Fully uncoil the mains cable to avoid overheating of the cable.
>
Never place the machine near appliances that give off heat such as ovens, gas cookers, cooking rings, etc. Keep
the machine away from walls or other objects that may catch fire such as curtains, towels (cotton or paper),
etc.
>
Make sure the machine is always on a stable and even surface and only use it indoors.
>
Never leave the machine unattended when it is in operation.
>
Don’t use the machine when the plug, the mains cable or the machine are damaged, when the machine is no
longer working properly or when it was dropped or damaged in any other way. If this is the case, please consult
the retailer or our technical department. Under no circumstances change the plug or the mains cable yourself.
Repairs to electrical appliances may only be carried out by professionals.
Wrongly carried out repairs may result in considerable dangers for the user. Never use parts with the machine
that were not recommended or supplied by the manufacturer.

When disconnecting the mains cable never pull the mains cable itself. Never touch the machine with wet or
moist hands.

Keep the machine out of reach of children. Children do not realise the dangers involved in using electrical
appliances. For this reason always keep an eye on children when they use electrical appliances. Make sure the
machine is stored away at all times so that children can’t get to the appliances.
>
The machine is not meant to be used by disabled people, small children and/or people with little experience and
knowledge, unless they are assisted or have been instructed in how to use the machine safely by a person who
is responsible for their safety.
