Examples of Actual Applications
Howling could be produced depending on the location of microphones rela-
tive to speakers. This can be remedied by:
1. Changing the orientation of the microphone(s).
2. Relocating microphone(s) at a greater distance from speakers.
3. Lowering volume levels.

The UA-100 contains over 70 types of effect. Of these, four especially interesting
and useful effects can be selected easily just by rotating the
Effect Type Selector
.
One of these is VT. (Voice Transformer).

If your microphone has a switch, turn the switch
ON
. While speaking
or singing into the microphone, gradually rotate the
MIC1/GUITAR
Input Volume
and the
Line Output Volume
toward the right a little at
a time.
Make sure that the
Input Level Peak Indicator
lights green. If it lights red, the
input level is excessive. Rotate the
MIC1/GUITAR Input Volume
toward the left to
reduce the input level, so that the
Input Level Peak Indicator
lights green.
