SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING
WHEN USING ELECTRIC PRODUCTS, BASIC PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:

5. Do not use this apparatus near water.

7. Do not block any of the ventilation openings. Install in
accordance with the manufacturers instructions.
8. Do not install near heat source such as radiators, heat registers,
stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce
heat.
9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-
type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider then
the other. A grounding-type plus has two blades and a third
grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong is provided
for your safety. When the provided plug does not fit into your
outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete
outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched
particularly at plug, convenience receptacle, and the point where
they exit from the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12. Never use with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table except as
specifies by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When
a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus
combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
13. Unplug this apparatus during lightening storms or when unused
for long periods of time.
14. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is
required when apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as
power supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or
objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been
exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has
been dropped.
LITHIUM BATTERY WARNING
Caution: Danger of explosion if lithium battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with same or equivalent type.
MANUALLY OPERATING MAINS POWER SWITCH
Caution: The mains power switch does not completely disconnect this equipment from the mains power when the switch is in the
“off” position. Remove power cord from mains outlet when servicing equipment. Where the MAINS plug or appliance coupler is
used as a disconnect device, the disconnect device should remain readily operable and accessible.

IMPORTANT: THE WIRES IN THIS MAINS LEAD ARE COLOURED AS FOLLOWS:
BLUE: Neutral
BROWN: Live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this apparatus may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your
plug, proceed as follows:

The wire that is colored BLUE must be connected to the terminal that is marked with the letter N or coloured BLACK.
•
The wire that is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal that is marked with the letter L or coloured RED. Under no
circumstances must either of the above wired be connected to the earth terminal of a three pin plug.
