Possible Settings in Motorola**
Digital Operation
Before using the Sounddecoder in Motorola**
digital operation the dip switches 1 and 2 at the
back of the Märklin* 6021 base station must be
set to “ON“. In order to ensure that this change-
over is effective, the base station must be reset
(press the “Stop“ and “Go“ keys simultaneously
until the display goes out and “99“ appears
briefly, then press “Stop“ separately and “Go“
again). An additional direction arrow in the dis-
play indicates that operation is currently in the
Motorola** new format required here.
For the Intellibox the address used must also be
specified in the “Motorola** new format“ for
the sound operation of the decoder.

For programming the Motorola** Register
• the drive controller should be set to “0”
• remove all locomotives from the layout except
those you wish to program or place the loco-
motive to be programmed on the Intellibox pro-
gramming track (the addresses must be set to
the Motorola** new format on the Intellibox;
programming takes place in accordance with the
Intellibox instructions for DCC decoders.
• Please observe the flashing of the lights during
programming.
